Zoom, a renowned video conferencing company, is the latest to join the AI bandwagon, with new integrations into its AI assistant 'Zoom IQ'. It has announced a partnership with OpenAI, the firm that created the AI chatbot ChatGPT.

The business promises that Zoom IQ's new AI functions would make it easier for consumers to complete their tasks.

Customers can request that Zoom IQ "summarize" the contents in real-time and ask further questions if they miss the start or a portion of the conference.

Furthermore, Zoom IQ may initiate a whiteboard session based on text instructions. Users will now be able to find a backlog of messages to read if they leave a meeting for an extended period of time.


Zoom has planned to roll out “Zoom IQ chat compose, Zoom IQ email compose (initially available for Zoom IQ for Sales), and select Zoom IQ meeting summary” features to users by invitation next month.

The blog post adds, “Zoom IQ assists by reading meeting summaries with customers and even considers already completed tasks. Modify the email to make it your own, and then close the loop from there.”
